Our Champion Competition Top is a functional, contemporary design, completely made in Europe and designed in Australia. No detail has been spared with our Champion Competition Top, from the flattering fit, technical fabric choice and our hidden and completely customisable back, shoulder and elbow protection options.
The Champion competition top is a fitted cut, with finely detailed cotton cuffs and collar, and a body constructed from a sustainable, durable, technical fabric. Our body fabric is made from recycled nylon, created from ocean waste, including discarded fishing nets and plastic bottles. Recycled nylon is a sustainable option, while offering UV protection and pilling resistance.
Designed for a close fit, our competition top allows an individual to customise the top from a competition top alone to back and/or shoulder and/or elbow protection. The protective pads (purchased separately or as part of one of our discounted sets) are easily inserted or removed between rides or horses or washes. Our protective pad options use certified motorcycle protectors, SAS-TEC technology meets the European standards EN 1621-1:2012 and EN 1621-2:2014. The protective pads are thin, discreet, lightweight, completely flexible, yet deliver a high level of impact protection with a level 2 (the highest standard available) rating achieved.
Onlookers will only see a professional and refined outfit but know you are protected without compromising your ride.
NOTE: THE BACK PIECE IS NOT TO REPLACE AN EQUESTRIAN CERTIFIED SAFETY VEST RATED AS EN13158 LEVEL 3 OR EQUIVALENT FOR THE CROSS COUNTRY PHASE.
The joint (elbow, shoulder, hip and tail bone) protectors can be used in conjunction with an EN13158 Level 3 certified safety vest for the cross country phase.
Our back piece can be used in all other phases where an EN13158 Level 3 certified safety vest is not legally required.
